Server Requirements

XDMS uses specific Operating System for Specific Tasks:
UNIX/Linux OS - Web/Application/Database
Windows OS - Microsoft Documents Formatting
** Hardware Specifications will be determined by number of users

Client Requirements

Windows XP or later
Pentium III or Faster
Minimum 256MB memory
Internet Explorer 6/7/8

Browsers

XDMS has been fully tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 and later on Windows Operating System. We recommend Internet Explorer for use with XDMS. Other browsers, such as Netscape and Mozilla will have limited functionality within the system. Specifically, the document scanning, preview and editing will not function because Netscape and Mozilla do not support ActiveX web controls. These controls are used to provide the scanning, preview and editing functionality. Virtually any browser will work for searching and system management.
